The speaker for our 2026 Winter Social is Vicki Pieser.
She will be speaking about her book, “Jews in Germantown”. Vicki has searched for Jewish community in small towns all of her life. Living in small towns in the United States, her immigrant parents taught their children to honor and preserve their Jewish heritage. After graduating from the University of Colorado with a BA and MA in Sociology in 1968, she moved to her husband’s hometown, New Ulm, Minnesota. She taught at Gustavus Adolphus College, worked in Juvenile Corrections, and served as Director of the Brown County Historical Society in New Ulm.
